The Proposal
Home made grazing platter and a red wine outside next to the fire and Adam got down on not one but two knees! I was absolutely shocked, I had no idea and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world being able to get the full surprise experience!
Why Down South?
We always pictured ourselves getting married in Bali, but COVID had other plans for us. A destination wedding [on Australian soil] seemed the way to go – so our guests could take a holiday too! Meelup Farmhouse was our first venue to look at, and as soon as we arrived we stopped our search for a venue! We just knew that this is where we were going to have our wedding!

Favourite Moment
Beyond hard to choose! I think for us, having our friend act as our celebrant was just so perfect. We decided to sign the paperwork in Perth prior so my grandad could come, and having a ceremony that was just full of laughter, tears and more laughter is something I will cherish forever. It couldn’t have been more perfect!
What is your advice for couples planning their wedding?
Enjoy every second, it’s true when they say it’s over in the blink of on eye. Trust your gut, stay true to who you are and find those vendors who are going to make your day exactly how you want it! It was truly the best day of my life!
