The Proposal
A romantic weekend away at Qualia Resort in QLD. I was rushing to get ready for dinner and Damian was sitting on the decking, he asked me to please bring him his sunglasses case and I sighed (thinking can’t you see I’m rushing, can you not get up and get it) I took it over and he asked me to open it up and inside was the most gorgeous ring I have ever seen.
Best Moments
Marrying my husband! We first met nearly 10 years ago and ended up going our separate ways. Life brought us back together and truly shows me if you are meant to be with someone you find your way back to each other. So finally getting married was the best! I loved everything about the day, the food, the drinks, the dance floor and sharing it all with our family and friends.
Why we chose our venue
Damian is originally a South West WA boy and on my first trip with him to meet his family I fell in love with it! The weather, the beaches, the people! So I thought what a perfect area to be Married. We had a wedding planner look at venues for us due to covid lockdown and OBF seemed like the perfect fit and when we eventually saw it 6 plus months later we loved it!
Style
Romantic, classic, elegant, fun and full of love!
Fragrance
My maid of honour gifted me a perfume and a beautiful hand written card on the morning of the wedding. It was Marc Jacob’s Daisy Dream and the bottle was blue. She said it’s my something blue for the day. It was so special.
Advice for Future Couples
Stick to your true style and don’t follow too many Instagram pages. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and side tracked! Go with what you love not what is the “in” style on Instagram at the moment.
