My name is Gemma Kaptein I am the owner/baker/creator of Butter Up Cake Co. I am a self taught “caker” with the passion to keep learning and creating. I am focused on delivering a cake that is of a high standard and will continue to keep perfecting my skills with each order that goes out the door.
I may have only been in the wedding industry a short time but I have found to really enjoy creating beautiful cakes for my wedding couples to enjoy with their loved ones on their special day. I can guarantee that not only will it look the part it will also taste delicious!
I specialise in buttercream style cakes (Sorry! No fondant covered cakes here) and all my cakes are 100% homemade as well as the delicious fillings such as Lemon Curd, Salted Caramel Sauce, Raspberry Sauce just to name a few. We also cater for most food allergies such as Egg Free, Dairy Free and Gluten Free as well as Vegan.
Not only do I create wedding cakes but I also create dessert bars. With a substantial dessert menu on offer I am sure there will be a sweet treat listed on there for everyone to enjoy.
Located in the South West and servicing the beautiful Margaret River Wine Region. I do book out quick quickly due to limited places available each month for Weddings so I do suggest getting in contact early.
